—✮☆—Kane Williamson’s IPL-ending injury. I feel bad for him as he’s such a nice bloke — I mean Kane is the kinda guy you wouldn’t be angry with even if you caught him banging your wife in your own bedroom.
—✮☆—Rinku Singh 5-straight sixes to win it for KKR. This is Historic as since the invention of Cricket in 1611, no one has hit 5 straight sixes off the last five balls of a match to win the match. I hope Rinku’s career doesn’t follow Karun Nair, who scored a Triple Century for India against England & then his career died quicker than Hansie Cronje’s. Ouch!

—✮☆—Mitchell Marsh leaving for Australia after two matches to get Married! Only in IPL you pay a player 6.5 cr for 14 matches — that’s roughly 50 lakhs per match & they decide to go get married in the middle of the IPL & still get paid crores. And we’re supposed to feel bad for Rishabh Pant who just got paid 15 cr for not even playing a match in IPL 2023.
—✮☆—Riyan Parag continues to Fail — Riyan is the second most luckiest human alive after Abhishek Bachchan, who was getting movies even after 32 straight flops. Riyan has played 50 matches for Royals at an average of 16. LuckyLucky Basterd!
—✮☆—Harshal Patel’s Failed attempt to Mankading Ravi Bishnoi off the last ball with the scores tied at 212. Later — R Ashwin, the Founder & Aggressive Promoter of the International Society of Mankading, called Harshal a Legend.
—✮☆—Sky’s Dark Patch continues — 4 Golden Ducks in 6 games. This reminded me of Ganguly’s all-time favorite coach & legendary Australian batsman — Greg Chapell’s 4 consecutive ducks [overall 7 ducks in 15 innings] When asked, if he’s out of form, Chapell responded saying “I haven’t been in the middle long enough to know if I’m out of form.” Later Chappel got back to amazing form. Hope to see Sky rising to the Sky soon.
